Payvand HIS System
The HIS Pevand system was the first Iranian hospital information management system under the Windows operating system. This system has experienced significant quantitative and qualitative growth over the past twenty years and has become the largest and most reputable specialized HIS in the field of electronic health in the country over time. The design of this system is in the form of puzzle pieces that can cover from a small polyclinic or paraclinic to a very large treatment complex. The initial architecture of this program was in the form of a client-server, and its new version is being prepared as a service (SaaS) using the most appropriate technologies of the world today. In the transition process, parts of the new generation programs are ready to be presented.
This technology enables the parties to provide software services instead of selling software programs. In this method, the service provider is responsible for providing all the hardware, operating systems, and strategic and application programs, and the service recipient (customer) only pays for the services received and has no responsibility for the provision or failure of hardware, software, security, backups, and databases, etc., and only provides its own platform such as work clients and connection to the Internet/Intranet network, and in accordance with the necessary security permissions, it can access information from anywhere and with any device. SaaS-based software (installed on a cloud computing platform) can run on all operating systems and conventional hardware devices (mobile phones, tablets, and computers).
